Harvest House - New
Britain - (860) 229-4850
Harvest
House is an 8 bed residential program designed to work with
adult clients with severe and persistent mental illness who
require a longer term, structured, home-like environment.
Harvest House provides a supportive and structured environment
to help individuals establish the skills needed towards increasingly
more independent living. Harvest House also helps ease the
transition for individuals re-entering the community after
extended hospitalizations. Through the use of client centered
goal planning, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) training,
group therapy, individual sessions, medication monitoring
and education, Harvest House creates opportunities for people
to grow and learn to become more independent. Program services
are coordinated with the residents and their clinical and
other community support service providers to insure comprehensive,
recovery-focused interventions.
Staffing is provided
on a 24 hour a day, seven day a week basis. The Program
is staffed by Residential Counselors, Residential Monitors
and a Program Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator.
