Team Time Social Club

At the Community
Clubhouse, members are supported and assisted to lead their
lives with independence and choice. Members come in on days
they choose and participate in groups and activities or
spend their time socializing in a safe environment. Transportation
to and from members’ homes can be provided at no cost.
Monthly schedules include all groups, activities and trips.
Once a member of the clubhouse, individuals can take advantage
of all of the scheduled opportunities.
Along with trips and activities, the Club
provides many needed opportunities to the Members. There
is a laundry and grocery shuttle that provides free transportation
to and from a Member’s home to local stores. There
are also a limited number of free YMCA memberships available
through the Clubhouse for those who are interested. Members
participate in a number of fund raising activities throughout
the year, including candy making and tye dying. Projects
are selected by the Board of Governors, which is the Club’s
governing body and is made up of 5 Members.
Club Members also sit on a number of CMHA’s
committees, such as the Adult Advisory Board and have been
named as Corporators. The Board of Governors have applied
for several grants, and received one from the Regional Consumer
Advisory Council to produce and distribute our tye dyes.
Members also participated in the NAMI Walk 2004, and raised
over $1000 for donation.
Staff are always available for questions
or support members might need. Members are required to stop
in to the Club at least one time per month to keep their
memberships active. The Team Time Club is open from 9 AM
to 8 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It is
open from 9 AM to 4 PM on Tuesday, from 9 AM to Noon on
Saturday, and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. The Clubhouse is
staffed by a Rehabilitation/Vocational Supervisor, two Rehabilitation
Counselors and two Assistant Rehabilitation Counselors and
two part-time cooks.
