Children's
Services Programs
CMHA operates an outpatient child guidance clinic that
is licensed by the Connecticut Department of Children
and Families (DCF). In addition, our Child and Adolescent
Services Division provides a variety of outpatient clinical
and prevention programs and services to more than 1,700
children and families each year - including intensive
outpatient service programs in New Britain, Southington
and Waterbury. |

Services
CMHA's Adult Services Division specializes in providing
recovery oriented behavioral health services to individuals
with severe and persistent mental illness. It also serves
as the Local Mental Health Authority for the Department
of Mental Health and Addiction Services. These programs
include individual and group outpatient treatment, dual
diagnosis, social rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation,
jail diversion, residential treatment and case management
services. The Adult Services Division services more
than 1,200 clients per year and monitors and coordinates
services for an additional 600 clients annually.

CMHA provides a variety of substance abuse treatment
services including culturally-appropriate, outpatient
Latino/Latina services. Through its affiliate, The Alliance
Treatment Center (ATC) located at 121 West Avon Road,
Avon, CT. CMHA manages the following services: inpatient
detoxification, residential care, day and evening outpatient
and partial hospitalization programs, court evaluations,
aftercare and family support groups. |
