Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) & Team Time Social Club 125-A Whiting Street, New Britain, CT 06052 (860) 826-5383 At the Team Time Social Club, clients are supported and assisted to lead their lives with independence and choice. Members come in on days they choose and participate in groups and activities or spend their time socializing in a safe environment. Transportation to and from members’ homes can be provided at no cost. Along with trips and activities, the Club provides many needed opportunities to members. A laundry and grocery shuttle provides free transportation to and from a member’s home to local stores. Staff is always available for questions or support that members might need. Members are required to stop in to the Club at least once per month to keep their memberships active. The Team Time Club hours are 9:00 am—8:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 9:00 am—4:00 pm on Tuesday; from 9:00 am—noon on Saturday, and 10:00 am—4:00 pm on Sunday. Center for Career Development/Vocational Services 125-C Whiting Street, New Britain, CT 06052 (860) 229-2711 The Center for Career Development provides employment and education support services to individuals in New Britain, Bristol, Plainville, Southington, Berlin and Burlington who are recovering from chronic mental illness and/or substance addiction and are interested in working, volunteering, or beginning their education. The program helps clients acquire the life skills necessary to become competitively employed or educated and retain jobs or education to match their unique strengths and preferences. Services include career and education exploration, job search assistance, resume development, job development and networking, job coaching, and transportation to and from job interviews. Staff is fluent in English and Spanish, and hours are flexible to provide on-site job support as needed. Cyclone Janitorial Services 1 Hartford Square - New Britain, CT (860) 827-0304 Cyclone is a consumer-based business that employs individuals with various disabilities. Cyclone has several contracts to clean and maintain state office buildings, as well as to provide cleaning services to the multiple sites in which CMHA has programming. |
