Ongoing Adderall shortage is negatively impacting households across Connecticut
The ongoing Adderall shortage is negatively impacting households across Connecticut, as people continue to struggle to fill prescriptions for their ADHD medication. CMHA’s Medical Director, Dr. John Nazarian, and CMHA Chairman of the Board Todd DeGroff, owner of Beacon Prescriptions New Britain, were able to share their thoughts and expertise on this pressing issue with Dave Peck of NBC Connecticut News.
As Dr. Nazarian explained, "Patients from all over the Hartford area, including Manchester, Bristol, and Enfield, have all experienced the shortage throughout the state." Todd DeGroff added, "It's affecting every pharmacy in the country."
We encourage those struggling with the shortage to work directly with their healthcare providers and pharmacies to manage their medication needs.
